Dental X-ray is a traditional way to determine the quality of root canal filling, as well as to diagnose inflammation at the apex of the tooth root (with apical periodontitis). Modern targeted X-rays produce a very low dose of X-ray radiation (compared to what it was 15-20 years ago). Why do you need dental x-rays?
