Oral-B Professional Care OxyJet MD20 Oral Irrigator Review

One of the leaders in quality among devices of this type is Oral-B brand equipment from the German concern Braun. Let's analyze whether it is worth purchasing a dental center that combines an electric brush and a table-top irrigation device, or whether purchasing only an irrigator is enough. Let's compare using the most popular Oral-B products as an example: the Professional Care Oxyjet MD20 irrigator and the Professional Care 8500 OxyJet Center+3000 OC 20 dental center.

Features of Braun dental technology

Many of us are well familiar with household appliances from the German brand Braun. We are familiar with hair dryers, epilators, electric shavers, and kitchen appliances from the concern from Germany. But Braun also produces devices for high-quality oral care, irrigators. They are known to buyers under the brand name Oral-B. A significant portion of customer reviews indicate that Oral-B devices are a worthy option for what the irrigator market has to offer. They helped some to get rid of tartar and whiten enamel, others - to cope with the problem of unpleasant odor, and for others - it was convenient and effective to care for braces and implants.

Braun devices are designed for the highest quality cleaning of teeth at home from plaque, deposits and gently massage the gums, strengthening the tissues, preventing periodontal diseases.

Oral-B technology is highly reliable and has wide functionality.

Design features of Braun irrigators:

  • operate from the central power grid;
  • have two pumps: a hydraulic pump and an air pump;
  • operate on the microbubble principle (cleaning is carried out with water saturated with oxygen particles), which allows you to clean your teeth much more thoroughly;
  • 2 ways of water supply: jet and spray;
  • the well-thought-out design of the device allows you to place a container for liquid on the stand, conveniently store replacement attachments, and easily store cords in special compartments;
  • rubber inserts on the handles will not allow the device to slip out of your hands.

Advantages and disadvantages of Braun irrigators

German technology is traditionally famous for its durability, high quality and reliability. Oral-B irrigators from Braun are no exception in this sense. Many families have been using Oral-B irrigators for several years, changing only the attachments. How else do the devices of the German concern compare favorably with similar devices from competing manufacturers?

Oral-B desktop irrigators have many strengths, including:

  • high build quality and long service life;
  • the devices are very easy to use, thanks to the ergonomic design and high-quality and durable materials;
  • the control system is clear and simple, even a child can quickly figure it out;
  • microbubble cleaning technology is the most advanced operating principle of irrigators;
  • the presence of a turbo flow function allows you to effectively massage your gums;
  • the presence of a filter that cleans the air before entering the system;
  • convenient smooth adjustment of water pressure;
  • The tank volume is enough for 90 seconds of continuous operation.

Microbubble technology is an effective and gentle method of cleaning teeth

Weaknesses of Braun irrigation-type devices include:

  • the high price in comparison with similar products from competitors makes the purchase of a device for the whole family and replacement attachments for it an expensive pleasure;
  • high noise level;
  • long cooling period (2 hours) after continuous operation of 15 minutes;
  • The pressure in devices with a microbubble operating principle is lower than in pulsed analogues.

These disadvantages cannot be called critical, because the most expensive irrigator is cheaper than the services of a professional dentist, and the water pressure in microbubble devices is still enough for more effective and gentle treatment than that of pulsed analogues.

Indications and contraindications for the use of irrigators

The Oral-B tabletop oral irrigator will be a useful purchase for those who want to get the maximum effect from brushing their teeth. Dentists recommend adding irrigator treatment to traditional hygiene procedures in order to:

  • prevention of carious lesions;
  • treatment and prevention of periodontal diseases (gingivitis, periodontitis);
  • more effective removal of plaque and tartar;
  • eliminating yellowness;
  • effective treatment of the space between teeth, gum pockets;
  • gum massage;
  • effective care of dentures and orthodontic systems.

Using an irrigator allows you to effectively clean hard-to-reach areas, including interdental spaces.

Unfortunately, not everyone can use an irrigator. Like any dental procedure, such hardware cleaning has a list of contraindications for use:

  • For patients undergoing periodontitis therapy or in the stage of exacerbation of gum disease, the procedure is contraindicated;
  • people suffering from diseases of the cardiovascular system will also have to refuse to treat their teeth with an irrigator;
  • rosacea (fragility of blood vessels) is another disease that excludes the possibility of hardware teeth cleaning;
  • if a person has recently undergone surgery on the oral cavity, cleaning with an irrigator will have to be abandoned for a while, the same applies to situations with recently installed implants.

To make sure that you and your loved ones will benefit from using an oral irrigator, consult with your dentist. Ask a specialist not only about the possible presence of contraindications, but also consult about the frequency and intensity of use of the device.

The recommended frequency of using the irrigator for brushing your teeth is 3 times a week. Ask your dentist how often you can use the device and how long one session lasts. Follow the recommendations received exactly, because using the device too often can harm your gums and enamel, and using it too rarely will not give the desired effect.

Appearance

On the top of the main block there is a thin lid for the water tank and the nozzle storage unit. The water container itself is easily dismantled - after removing the lid, you just need to pull it up a little and remove it.

On the front of the container there is a scale with marks for filling the volume. At the bottom there is a filter that prevents limescale and other impurities from entering the irrigator. There is an outlet valve behind the filter, due to which the liquid does not spill out.

There is a two-position switch on the handle that starts the irrigator into operation and regulates the liquid pressure. The switch has a recess, making it very easy to operate.

Functional

It is equipped with 4 attachments for standard cleaning of teeth from plaque; they are no different; in order to give each attachment a personal touch, they are equipped with colored plastic rings. They operate in two operating modes:

  1. Mono stream flow – cleans food debris and plaque between teeth.
  2. Turbo flow with microbubbles - light massage of soft tissues, the liquid passes under the edge of the gums and non-removable structures on the teeth.

To change the mode, move the flag on the nozzle to one of the positions. There is a small impeller on the front side of the nozzle; it is this that adds air bubbles to the supplied flow.

Before first use, water is filled into the reservoir and its entire volume is passed through an irrigator. Preparation for launch consists of the following algorithm of actions:

  • One of the attachments is attached to the handle.
  • Warm water is filled into the container with or without the addition of a special solution.
  • Started with the power button.
  • Select the required water supply pressure using the regulator.
  • They put it into operation by moving the switch on the handle up, it opens the liquid supply.

After pressing the power button, water is pumped from the container into the handle, the process is accompanied by a characteristic loud sound. It will be difficult to carry out procedures early in the morning and not wake up everyone at home.

The pressure is smoothly adjustable in the range from 1 to 5 units, adjustable smoothly and finely. Power levels 1 and 2 are suitable for children and adults prone to gum bleeding. From 3 to 5 units is suitable for adults without gum disease. The most appropriate indicator is considered to be 4, the power at this level washes out food particles well between the teeth, the container is consumed in about 90 seconds.

Considering that for a complete and thorough cleaning of the oral cavity in water supply mode 4, an adult needs approximately 8 minutes, and continuous use of the irrigator is allowed for 15 minutes, then a break of 2 hours is needed, it is optimal for a family of 2 to use it.

After use, pour out the remaining water from the container - do not turn off the irrigator until the liquid stops flowing out. This measure protects against the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria inside. It is recommended to change attachments every 3 months.

Periodontists strongly recommended that my mother and I use the irrigator, since we have a family history of bleeding gums and problems with gums in general. Along with professional cleaning in a dental office, this is a unique device that can really significantly improve the condition of your gums. Due to the gentle cleansing of interdental spaces and massage of gums in inaccessible places.

When using the irrigator, I add a little rinse aid to the water compartment (I was recommended Asepta) and run the stream along the gums and between all the teeth for a minute.

I see positive dynamics, although at first my gums bled more!

Pros: excellent! There are no questions regarding price and quality)

Pros: I bought this device today, I can say that the thing is very good, there are constant problems with the gums, bleeding, inflammation, but after the first use I appreciated the unit, it was worth the money, I was not disappointed... Although I read some bad reviews... At first I tried it on one , then on a grade of two - enough to knock out all sorts of nasty things... And with the “propeller” it’s comfortable and the result is beyond praise... For those who don’t even need a grade of five, take a Karcher car or a file, it will be just right for you))

Cons: Yes, what are the disadvantages, only advantages, if there is a breakdown, I will bring it under warranty, they gave me two years...

Feedback: I regret that I didn’t use an irrigator before, there would have been fewer problems. .. Already after the first use, you can feel the result (delicately and cleanly), and cleanliness is the key to health, including teeth... With regular use, everything will be completely normal... And no divorces from dentists on the prof. cleaning, they love it very much... And money too... It is not in their interests to advise an irrigator:)

Advantages: Compact. Convenient and easy to use. Strong and adjustable pressure of the irrigator (5 power levels, including direct and spray water). Looks great! Combines both a brush and an irrigator - super! The brush has a pressure indicator - it lights up red if you press hard. The brush vibrates every 30 seconds and after 2 minutes - so as not to brush your teeth longer (a minute for the top and bottom of the jaw). The brush has three modes: simple, gentle and whitening. Additional attachments that are very popular with me!

Well, in general, a great thing, especially if you wear braces.

Disadvantages: I don't see any. Super thing.

Comment: I just love this thing. Received it as a gift. I carry briquettes (for the record). It cleans simply amazing, it’s even amazing how much remains between the teeth when, after brushing your teeth with a brush, you turn on the irrigator!

I highly recommend it to everyone, absolutely everyone! You need to take care of your teeth, and this thing is a great solution!

z.y. On my own behalf, I’ll add that on the Oral Bi website I read a recommendation to first clean with a brush, then with an irrigator.

And yet, it is important to brush your teeth correctly; I advise you to watch a video on YouTube on using an electric toothbrush. In short, when brushing, it is important to position the brush head so that half is on the gums, half on the teeth. This prevents the accumulation of food under the gums and the formation of pockets, which have a very detrimental effect on the condition of the teeth.

Enjoy your use everyone.

Pros: a must-have item!

Disadvantages: Possibly expensive

We doubted the need to purchase this device for a long time.

An incident helped me make a decision: a dentist, examining my husband’s oral cavity, noted that his gums needed additional care. He recommended an irrigator to us, describing all the advantages of this device. We thought about buying it: we analyzed the assortment and prices... We chose between an irrigator and a dental center. But they kept dragging...pulling...

And then I got braces installed and my doubts disappeared on their own. The device settled in the bathroom. And we beat around the bush for a long time, studying the instructions...

My husband was the first to decide. After just a week of use, he noted that the condition of the gums had improved and the teeth themselves began to look neater, cleaner...

Then I tried it. The first experience was unsuccessful - the procedure seemed unpleasant: the water seemed very cold to the gums and it was very ticklish. But... now I can’t imagine HOW to clean my teeth under braces without HIM? Cleans perfectly! Everywhere!

I will note the main advantages:

Excellent for cleaning hard-to-reach places

Cares for gums

Reduces plaque formation

I am very pleased. Although the irrigator is not the cheapest device, for those who are worried about the condition of their teeth and are ready to use the capabilities of the device 100%, buy it! And I especially recommend it to those who have braces. The thing is worthwhile!

Interesting thing. I've been using it for 7 years and have no regrets. When they first began to appear on the market, people whose activities were related to the oral cavity began to promote them. So my dentist, based on personal experience, recommended an irrigator to me. The device includes a container for water and the device itself, which uses a stream of water to clean the teeth. The thing is worthwhile, but it comes, of course, with dental floss and a brush. Two modes for jet pressure, in the form of a single jet and in the form of a shower, as you wish. Multiple feed speeds. Can be used in conjunction with rinse aid by adding it to a container of water.

For a long time I thought about what I could give my beloved spouse for his birthday, because on this day it is customary to give something original. It was very difficult to choose and I decided to give something useful. Since he recently began to often complain to me about toothache and pain in his gums during meals and cleansing, he decided that the gift would be from this area. Since it has now become very fashionable to give and buy irrigators, I decided to make a gift in this spirit. I met a very large assortment in a household appliance store and didn’t even know which manufacturer I should give my money to, because this device is not cheap. Since they often buy and there are good reviews for the Braun Oral-B Oxy Jet Irrigator, I decided to buy it. It cost me 4,500 rubles, which is not that cheap, but there was a promotion on it at the time and for this reason I took it. I bought it for myself and my husband. By itself, it looks beautiful and the design is wonderful, this model fits well and very comfortably in your hands, so it doesn’t slip and it’s even lightweight. The decoration is in blue and white colors. What I liked about this irrigator first of all is that it has a huge water tank and since the filter is powerful enough, you can also pour infusions of different herbs. So I can pour here infusions of oak bark, chamomile, string, and if I also add 3 drops of essential oil, then with the help of this wonderful irrigator I will definitely be guaranteed fresh breath. Of course, it costs much more money than any toothbrush, but this is justified by the fact that here the cleansing process goes many times faster in time. It is also worth noting the fact that this irrigator cleanses the oral cavity more delicately. My husband and I cannot brush our teeth and gums for a long time with a toothbrush, because then everything swells and we have to rinse with special solutions for the gums. But with an irrigator everything is much simpler, since not only does it not hurt, but it is also very gentle. I would even call this method not so much a cleaning as a massage procedure. For the spouse’s problematic gums, this irrigator is simply necessary, as it massages the gums well. I used all the attachments in the kit and was pleased with the result, because my gums became much stronger. There is no bleeding from the gums when brushing or eating solid foods. And tooth enamel doesn’t ache either. It's light in operation and doesn't make any noise at all, so my husband and I can brush our teeth early in the morning before work and not wake up the kids. It removes plaque and plaque from the tongue well, very delicate, many attachments.

I became acquainted with this device a year and a half ago, when my daughter got braces. Agree that when you have braces, no matter how thoroughly you brush your teeth, food particles still remain on your teeth and in your mouth. That’s when we purchased this device called the Braun Oral-B Oxy Jet Irrigator at a cost of 4,000 rubles. Its main purpose is to care for the gums and teeth of the oral cavity. We all know very well the main causes of various diseases of the teeth and gums - these are pathogenic bacteria that appear due to food debris. The irrigator is a kind of structure that includes an electronic unit, four replaceable nozzles of different colors for all family members, and a liquid reservoir with a capacity of 600 ml. and wall mounting. The irrigator comes with instructions in Russian. I’ll say right away that this device is not compact, its dimensions are 200 mm x 200 mm x 255 mm, and its weight is 1.26 kilograms. If you place it in the bathroom, you will need a large shelf, but for convenience you can hang it on the wall. For this purpose, the kit includes a special fastener. The irrigator has five levels of liquid pressure in the reservoir. The fifth is the most powerful; in this mode, a powerful jet of water ideally cleanses the interdental space, the first two are gentle and can be used for children’s teeth. The irrigator has the following modes: monoblock and turbo flow. With a “monoblock”, a direct pulsating flow of water makes it easy to clean the space between teeth, as well as under crowns, braces and other orthodontic systems. With “Turboflow”, the irrigator creates a stream of water in the form of a spiral, which allows you to thoroughly clean hard-to-reach areas, and in addition, provides an excellent massage of the gums. The flow is generated in a turbine, which is located at the tip of the nozzle and rotates at a speed of 8,000 revolutions per minute. This device uses micro bubble technology, in which the irrigation solution and air are mixed in the device's reservoir. As a result, a stream saturated with oxygen is created, which guarantees the gentle removal of food debris and pathogens. The irrigator receives power from a 220 volt network from an ordinary outlet, the length of the electric wire is 1.2 meters. It is equipped with the necessary safety equipment. After ten minutes of operation, it automatically turns off to prevent the device from overheating. My daughter usually used it after meals, but after brushing her teeth with regular toothpaste. When the time came, my daughter’s braces were removed and we were very pleased with her aligned teeth, they were safe and sound and we believe that this is the merit of this wonderful device, the Braun Oral-B Oxy Jet irrigator. I definitely recommend purchasing and using it.

Oral care, as you know, is necessary and useful. And since the care itself includes not only brushing your teeth, but also caring for your gums, the process looks a little more complicated. If, as a rule, everything is clear with your teeth - you buy a good brush, change it at least once every three months, select the optimal toothpaste - and that's it)) But what about those who have bleeding gums? You still need to brush your teeth, but several times a week (well, if not every day) there are traces of blood on your toothbrush. The Braun Oral-B Oxy Jet irrigator was recommended to me by my dentist. I myself have been thinking about this purchase for a long time, I read a lot on the Internet. I didn’t dare buy it, but then at the next doctor’s appointment, after talking with her about brushing my teeth, I decided to listen. Moreover, she recommended this particular model, and I ended up taking it. I liked that the Braun Oral-B Oxy Jet Irrigator 600 ml. I especially realized this (that this is a plus) when I started using it - you don’t need to add water too often. There are two modes for spraying the jet. There are as many as five speeds, which is a bit too much for me; it seems to me that they could have done three and that would have been enough. The Braun Oral-B Oxy Jet irrigator fits comfortably in your hand and is very comfortable to use. Cleans everything flawlessly and is very gentle on the gums. At the same time, it fights plaque well. Previously, I constantly brewed various herbs for the gums, rinsed with all sorts of different decoctions, but still the brushes (any kind) injured the gums, and no herbs helped. Now I couldn’t be more pleased with this miracle acquisition. I completely forgot about dentists and the problem of sensitive gums. In general, this is a device with which you can professionally monitor your oral health at home. Some people, of course, won’t want to bother with it; it’s easier to brush your teeth the usual way, so it’s not suitable for everyone. Well, the price, of course, bites. With that money you can buy so many toothbrushes and toothpaste! But for those who have problems with gums, this thing can become an indispensable assistant. And if a person has braces, then, in my opinion, this is almost the only way in this state to properly clean teeth from plaque and food debris. The Braun Oral-B Oxy Jet irrigator has a convenient mount; it is convenient to hang it on the wall in the bathroom. The device itself is beautiful, neat, aesthetically pleasing, and not difficult to care for. My rating is five, I recommend it to everyone. Before use, be sure to consult your doctor!

I want to tell you about the irrigator I purchased.

Braun Oral-B. I found out about it only after I got braces, I was looking for ways to care for them, and decided that I wouldn’t be able to brush them every time after eating.

The range of irrigators is not very large, my choice fell on

Braun Oral-B, so this model had a microbubble mode. When I brushed for the first time, there was even an unpleasant smell, although I constantly use dental floss and interdental brushes and spend a lot of time brushing my teeth, but apparently not everything is cleaned out as perfectly as the irrigator does. True, it dries out the mucous membrane a little.

The irrigator itself has 5 jet pressure modes. For children, mode 1 or 2 is suitable; for adults, to clean well, this is the maximum mode 5.

So I was happy with my purchase for only 5 months (one fine morning I turned it on and oh horror! There is no jet pressure, and from under the bottom of the irrigator it pours like a bucket, fortunately it has a 2-year warranty. In general, I agreed with the store and sent it for service , they said the pump was broken and so it took 2 months to repair it, but I had to suffer without an irrigator.

Well, I finally received my long-awaited irrigator from repair, turned it on, it works, but still not as well as before, and from under the bottom of the lid there is no no and it drips, of course it doesn’t flow like a stream, but still it’s not the same irrigator which was, after watching it for a while, I again had to send it for repairs, this time it all dragged on for 3 months, and in the end the service center said that it could not be repaired. I was offered monetary compensation or a new irrigator. Of course, I chose a new irrigator, but the warranty remained the same.

So I was unlucky (I used it for 5 months, waited 5 months for it to be repaired, and somehow during this time I got used to it without it, but it’s a very necessary thing, especially if you have structures in your mouth.

I accidentally came across a mention of an irrigator when I was looking at an electric toothbrush. And of course I was interested, since almost all of my teeth have fillings, and my gums are not in the best shape. Such reviews, such delight. I told my husband everything, let’s buy it. When he found out about the price, he tried to dissuade me, but I was adamant. We ordered it at a price slightly cheaper than in online stores. I think it cost us 100 euros. And the most interesting thing was that they brought it when I was away, my husband started using it without me.. To my “well, how” he answered.. well, so.. Nothing definite. Having arrived, I quickly ran to inspect and try it out. The jet hits quite well with pressure, it turned out to be easy to get used to. Now let's go BUT. Firstly, I didn’t have any leftover food fall out, I was specifically waiting for at least a particle of something. Only in one place was there a space between my gums and teeth, and something flew out from there, and it was barely visible. And then I went to the dentist, changed the filling, and that’s it. The remains of food were no longer visible. Secondly, I really don’t like that when you turn on the irrigator, cold water first flows out, which was apparently left there in the hose from the last time. So you need to pour warm water in there, otherwise the cold will hurt your teeth, I tried it once, I won’t risk it again. So you need to turn it on, pour out the cold water, turn it off, put it in your mouth and turn it on. Or put it straight into your mouth and experience an unpleasant cold. Thirdly, this set of attachments. I consider it useless. This is not a toothbrush, it doesn’t come into contact with your teeth and gums, why does everyone need their own brush head? My husband and I successfully use one, but the other three lie idle. Some will say that this is not hygienic, but I don't understand that. Before this, your teeth are brushed, and you and your husband kiss after eating, no big deal. And here it’s just a stream of water. And finally, recently my husband had something stuck between his teeth, he couldn’t find the thread, he picked it with a toothpick, I said, go with the irrigator, there’s a stream and that’s it. And what do you think. Nope, didn't help. Until he took out the thread and cleaned it, he didn’t get what he had there. So the question arises: why buy it if it’s of little use. Whether my gums have become better, I don’t know. Sometimes you bleed a little after the procedure. And I must also add that I have a one-and-a-half-year-old child, we put him to bed barely by 12, then we ourselves, barely alive, crawl to brush his teeth and often we simply don’t have the strength to irrigate and sleep faster. My husband is laughing now; he’s completely given up on this matter, so to speak. I’m still trying not to miss this case, but I feel I’ll soon join my husband. In general, we have had the irrigator for half a year. Thanks to those who have read. By the way, it takes up little space, and we just have it on the washbasin near the wall.

Hi all!!!

Today I’ll tell you about the wonderful mini dentistry that appeared in our bathroom!!

So Irrigator)) For those who don’t know what it is yet, I’ll tell you.

This is a device. Very compact in size! It is a plastic design with a half-liter bowl for water, the device itself and four nozzles included. And all together this is a professional, amazing cleaning of your teeth!!! Cleaning is done with water pressure. You choose the pressure yourself!!!

Now you can forget what brushing your teeth with dental floss is, you won’t need it.

You don’t need to forget about a simple toothbrush; you should use the irrigator after brushing your teeth.

The scheme is simple: Fill the bowl with water (lukewarm) and add 3 tbsp. spoons of your any mouth rinse and start cleaning. You can pour herbal infusions into the place of the rinse aid, straining them through a sieve first. You can just use water without adding anything. There are 4 water supply modes, from weak to strong. You need to start with low pressure. Then, when your teeth get used to it, you can move on to stronger pressure. We turn on the device, select the water flow, and begin going over each tooth. Take your time and take your time!

So what is the result, and the result is everything is great. I used to have a problem with bad breath because food accumulated between my teeth. Nothing was cleaned with a brush, I brushed with dental floss, the floss injured my gums, as a result of which “pockets” formed above the teeth - then food also accumulated there, the smell was even stronger.

With the irrigator, thank God, all my pockets were cleaned out... Oh my God, as I remember... the first time I cleaned for about 20 minutes. I can’t just explain how much crap came out of my gums and teeth... Sorry, it came out in bits and pieces (((And this despite the fact that I brush my teeth 3 times per day. And in appearance everything seemed clean. This kind of routine cleaning is a complete waste... Now I use the irrigator only before bed, after brushing my teeth, a lot of food residues come out during the day too... but the brush can never cope with this.

As I already said, the kit includes 4 attachments. Then, when they become clogged, you can safely buy replacement ones. The device operates from the network. The kit includes a tile mount. That is, it can be easily installed on the wall. The device itself was bought at a regular pharmacy. They paid about three thousand rubles for everything. There are cheaper ones, especially in online stores, we just overpaid for the brand!

♥♥♥ Have a nice day everyone! ♥♥♥

Today I want to talk about a very useful and necessary thing, not for the lazy - the Oral-B Professional Care OxyJet irrigator.

Why not for the lazy? Yes, because you need to use it every day, preferably in the morning and evening, and only in this case will you be able to appreciate all its benefits and save a lot on the dentist.

Operating principle: The above or irrigator liquid is poured into the water tank, as you like, the speed and method of supplying the liquid is selected, and teeth are brushed + gums are massaged.

At first it just tickled me wildly even at first speed, but as you use it you start to get used to it, and the speed slowly but surely increases.

During cleaning, simply deposits of minerals fly out of a seemingly clean oral cavity. You just wonder where things come from...

Suitable for: Absolutely everyone! It will be especially necessary for happy owners of braces and people with gum disease.

The set includes 4 attachments, so the whole family can use it. Each attachment has a colored ring, it’s quite easy to remember yours;)

Conclusion: I am very pleased with this purchase. I cleaned my teeth to remove plaque only once, before purchasing an irrigator. They didn’t offer me any more, and my requests were answered that there was nothing to clean.

Thanks to all!

Like anyone else, I had to tinker with my teeth.

The dentist strongly recommended the irigator, because... toothbrushes are not able to clean those microscopic gaps between teeth and dentures.

When you pay a tidy sum, at least until the memory erases the effect of the amount paid and the toad is blown away, you want to rush and do everything to save what is in your mouth. This is how I got an irigator.

It was difficult to choose, but I was definitely instructed by the dentist that the volume should be at least 300, and preferably 500 ml, in order to clean well + there should be several speeds for effect.

I spent a lot of time choosing it, I’ve been using it for 2 years now.

Pros:

— has 4 attachments, so a family of up to 4 people can use it (if, of course, everyone can get hooked on it)

– water tank 500 ml

— 5 speeds

— 2 jet options, the one that hits thinly is good for cleaning crevices, and the one that sprays is good for massaging the gums

Minuses:

All non-portable irrigators, including this one (I searched very carefully), do not operate on batteries, only on mains power, so there should be an outlet in the bathtub next to the sink.

That's why I gave it a 4. When I was looking, it was indicated in the description that it could also work on batteries, but this was apparently a publicity stunt. And portable irrigators have 1, maximum 2 speeds and a volume of 150 ml.
