Miramistin is a drug that is produced in Kyiv on a pharmaceutical basis and belongs to cationic antiseptics with a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action. Miramistin solution is used to prevent diseases that are transmitted through intimate intimacy of partners: chlamydia and trichomoniasis, syphilis and gonorrhea, genital candidiasis. Using a urological applicator, two to three ml of medication is injected into the urethra in the first two hours after sexual intercourse.
Miramistin for women is used to prevent infection with sexually transmitted diseases. Five to ten ml of medication is inserted into the vagina for two to three minutes. The pubis and genitals are treated at the same time.
