Removable dentures without a palate are compact orthopedic structures designed to restore the integrity of the upper row of teeth. Traditionally, the upper denture is equipped with a palatal plate for vacuum fixation to the hard palate. Adaptation to such products lasts up to 3 weeks. The prosthesis does not require special care.
The product does not need to be removed before going to bed, but sometimes the device needs to be removed for specific disinfection treatment. To do this, you will need tablets with protective ingredients that need to be dissolved in water. The prosthesis is placed in the resulting solution for 10-15 minutes. At this time, it is necessary to brush the teeth on which the device is attached.

An additional hygiene measure is to use mouth rinse after each meal. Professional oral hygiene is also required once a year.
After installing the prosthesis, it is advisable to avoid too viscous and hard foods so as not to damage the product.
If you experience discomfort while wearing a denture, you need to visit a dentist. Also, a preventive examination is needed at least once every six months.
With proper care, the sandwich system will last 10 years or more.
